The Role:
We are seeking a passionate and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our growing team on a part-time basis. This role offers flexibility and a supportive team environment, with opportunities to work across a range of areas including paediatrics, disability, functional capacity assessment, and mental health. The ideal candidate will be comfortable applying their skills across varied presentations and settings as needed.
We are looking for someone who not only brings professional skill and compassion to their work, but who also shares and upholds the Christian values that are central to our practice.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct functional assessments and deliver goal-based OT interventions
Develop and implement client-centred therapy plans
Prepare high-quality documentation, including NDIS reports and progress reviews
Liaise with families, support coordinators, educators, and other health professionals
Maintain accurate and timely clinical records
Participate in team meetings, supervision, and ongoing professional development
Requirements:
Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
Current AHPRA registration
Eligibility to work in Australia
Current Working With Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
Access to own transport and valid driver’s licence
Strong communication and clinical reasoning skills
A commitment to upholding Christian values in practice and team culture
Experience working with children, NDIS participants, or mental health clients is desirable but not essential
